Cotswold June 6-9, 1999

The Cotswold area was everything we read about, and more! Flowers and beauty as far as the eye can see! However, it does require a car. Wait a minute -- Kevin driving on the left in England? Now that's scary!

We took a 5 hour train ride from Edinburgh to Birmingham, then rented a car and drove to Chipping Campden, our home base for the next three days! The Cotswold House Hotel was simply delightful! Jenny had her own room!

Highlights: Stratsford-upon-Avon for Jenny, getting lost in the hedge maze at Blenheim Palace, watching HAIL fall while we ate dinner in a pub, and Susan turning every shade of white while Kevin was learning to drive like the English!

(Next stop: London)
