Here is the picture
with the charcoal and ink stage completed.

Built up textures have been developed with a special gesso and marble dust formula, to mimic the textures of an old master's painting.

This is done to speed up the process which may have taken the masters 1 to 3 years per painting, and as many as 40 layers of oil paint glazes!
